also, having the restaurant closed is a huge letdown—what is this, a cheap motel? and don’t even get me started on how I was not offered an upgrade, it’s outrageous.

The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful.
I was really disappointed with the overall experience here. The breakfast offered a limited selection that felt inadequate, lacking variety in fruits and proteins. Additionally, the hotel was quite removed from the main area of Guernica, making it potentially inconvenient, especially on Sundays when there were hardly any dining options open nearby.

A warm welcome in Gernika
The moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their recommendations for exploring Gernika were spot on, and the breakfast offered wonderful local options, including gluten-free bread.
However, the breakfast area became quite crowded, which made it a bit chaotic at times. Additionally, the hotel's location was slightly away from the main attractions, requiring a short walk to reach them.

The welcoming staff provided excellent directions to the nearby museum, enhancing the stay. The hotel's location is tranquil yet conveniently close to the city center, making it easy to explore local dining options. Rooms were clean and equipped with great amenities, like a coffee machine. However, the breakfast selection felt somewhat limited, lacking in variety, and the dining area became crowded during peak hours.
